Napoleon Dynamite meets a Liger Costume

I've always loved the movie Napoleon Dynamite. There's a scene in the movie when Napoleon is drawing a liger on a piece of paper and explains to his friend Deb how cool they are. My dog, Fin, resembles a liger with his lion eyes and light tiger stripes (brindle) on his side. I made him a lion mane from a furry gator (neck warmer) from Target. Since I needed it to fasten around his head I used fabric glue to insert Velcro into the bottom inside part of it. If I wanted to take it off or just give him a break and have it hang around his neck I would just undo the Velcro. I sewed lion ears out of felt and sewed them to the mane to complete his liger look. I went as Napoleon Dynamite. I bought "cop glasses" from a Halloween store and popped out the lenses. The wig was supposed to be a Kramer wig that I messed up, brushed out, and styled to be Napoleon hair. I bought a white t-shirt from Target and used a red fabric marker to write "Vote for Pedro" on it. I free-handed the lettering and it was terrifying. I wore high waisted jeans, that I tucked my shirt into, and Ugg boots to serve as my moon boots. Here we are at a doggy Halloween party!
