Oscar the Grouch Dog's Costume

Little Walter is our 4 year old Brussels Griffon. He is dressed as Oscar the Grouch! We cut the garbage can and pinned it around the outside of Walter's carrier that he is in. We attached elastic to the garbage can lid so it would stay on the top of his little head. Little Walter became green by painting him with Pet Paint, which is made especially for pets, so it is completely safe and washes right out. Little Walter is a perfect Oscar the Grouch because he looks a lot like him, and sometimes, well, he is a grouch! He felt safe in his carrier, and we had a lot of fun meeting people and taking photos. Little Walter in his Oscar the Grouch costume was a big hit wherever we went!
