Day of the Dead Costume

I recently learned about the day of the dead celebration in Mexico. It is actually quite interesting as they prolong their halloween celebration for 3 days and actually "honour" the dead by wearing these jewelled and floral costumes. There is something beautiful about this look. It took me about an hour to get all of the jewels to stay on my face, the veil was made by some lace i bought at the local fabric store - and the flowers were bought at the dollar store. Overall my costume costs about $20 which is pretty good if you ask me! :)

Halloween is my fav holiday! Can't wait until next year.
