Glinda The Good Witch Costume

This is me wearing a costume I made using my old wedding gown (dyed pink) a crown (trashcan with the bottom cut out and painted after using duct tape, buttons, spray paint, hot glue and glitter) a wand (dowel rod and a paper star, spray painted and then applied gems, a butterfly necklace (paper cut out and spray painted with glitter) and a set of wings purchased from the dollar store and glued to the back of the dress.
I have had this idea for some years now and just finally got around to making it. I like to be creative when dressing up and never buy an already made costume. I also try to not be too scary because there are many children at our annual Halloween parties.
