This homemade costume for women entered our 2017 Halloween Costume Contest.

Inspired by makeup artist Ellimacs tutorials from Sweden!! This is a monster from the scary movie Silent Hill 3.
I handmade all props in this costume using moldable plastic pellets to form the chains for the look and the metal rings. I Hand cut pieces of fabric and turned them into a leather-like texture by painting on mod podge glue, I mixed together a latex paste to create the prosthetics for the face and the mouth on a handmade face cast. I also cut up poster board into blade shapes to form the blades for the head. Spray painted them to look like metal. Overall it took me about 4 days to complete the parts and about 3 hours to apply the makeup on myself ! I learned a lot during this process and picked up many valuable skills!
