This homemade costume for women entered our 2013 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from April, the 'Snowglobe' costume creator:
I seen the idea on line and thought...hey I could do that and ran with the idea. I used a large cushion for the base and added layers for depth. From the base up - there's a chair cushion with a hole big enough for my body, additional foam, sand, shells, rocks. The globe is made out of sheets of laminating plastic held together at the top with fishing line. Added leis and a skirt to finish off the entire outfit.
