Baby Frida Kahlo Costume

I made my 3 month old daughter Asha into Frida Kahlo this Halloween. I saw a picture of Frida recently and thought that it would be a fun and easy costume to make. I made the headband by hot gluing fake flowers onto a stiff backing, which I then glued onto a piece of stretchy material. The corset piece is a replica of Frida's artwork that I drew on a piece of stiff felt with fabric markers. I glued ribbons to the back to tie it on. The shawl is just a piece of gauzy material. The unibrow is drawn on with eyeliner. I love all the bright colors!
