Linus and the Great Pumpkin Costume

This is my husband and I. My costume selection was relatively small this year since I'm 8 months pregnant. I searched for quite a few costume before making the joke "I give up, I'm just going to be the great pumpkin." The more I thought about it, the more I liked the idea. We were going to a cartoon costume party and this fit perfectly. My husband wore black basketball shorts and a red shirt which I painted black stripes on with acrylic paint his sister had. He had both articles of clothing in his closet already. His sign was cardboard and hung around his neck. For the blue blanket, we used and old towel. I wore black leggings and a black cardigan which I too already owned. We used orange crayola washable paint and black creme paint for the pumpkin. The washable paint did flake a little bit more than expected but didn't bother me and came off super easily!
