Strawberry Shortcake Costume

My job was throwing away mannequin wigs they didn't use anymore. I saw the red one and thought about strawberry shortcake, my childhood favorite cartoon. I had the red wig and used a red dress I had from a previous costume(Betty boop). I bought the socks and a colorful apron. I cut the edges of the apron to make the sleeves on my arms. I had an old sun hat, which I added ribbons and colorful buttons. I also baked a strawberry shortcake to complete the outfit. Total cost was about $20.
