This homemade costume for families entered our 2016 Halloween Costume Contest.

With the news of the passing of Gene Wilder this seemed to be a no brainer that we all dress up like characters from Willy wonka. My wife Jenny is Veruca Salt. She made her outfit. My 5 year old daughter Julianna (who loves the movie) is Willy. We made her outfit. My youngest daughter Natalie is a Oompa Loompa. We wanted make sure she was comfortable. When it came to my outfit. My daughter said. "Daddy. You are going to be a blueberry". I can't let her down. Right? I bought the blue blowup suit but made the outfit. We were the hit at my moms party. Those gold shoes I wear to weddings. I like to dance. Fun times.
