A word from Meredith, the 'Wonder Woman Infant' costume creator:
I purchased the Onesie & skirt from a local Consignment Shop, although both pieces needed some creative tweaking & repair mismatched edges on the skirt.
The 3-6 month Gerber Onesie is red cotton with long-sleeves appliquéd with the yellow felt WW logo. I made the gold lame cuff bracelets freehand, attached a red cotton star to each & tacked them to each Onesie sleeve.
Her royal blue cotton skirt has hand-stamped stars & a gathered elastic waist.
The cape & headpiece were created freehand, without a pattern. I used a gold lame fabric & lined both with a basic red cotton fabric. The cape edge is topstitched with gold thread & used red cotton double-fold bias tape for the cape closure. After taking Sophie's head circumference measurement, 1/2" elastic was used to provide a comfortable but snug fit.
Her stretchy red socks are 0-6 months pulled up to the knee to resemble boots.
Approximate cost - $18
Approximate design & sewing hours - 10
