This homemade costume for families entered our 2013 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Elizabeth, the 'Cat in the Hat and Thing 1 and Thing 2' costume creator:
Mom (Elizabeth) is wearing Thing 1 costume, dad (Josh) is wearing Thing 2 costume, our son, Dylan is wearing the Cat and The Hat costume. We got the idea since we have been watching the Cat and the Hat cartoon a lot with our son! We knew how to make our costumes using our own creativity and a small part from Google. For the Thing 1 and Thing 2 pieces, we used felt and a hot glue gun. We also used felt with the bow tie and the cat and the hat's hat.
