This homemade costume for couples entered our 2014 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Kate, the 'Mary Poppins and the Chimney Sweep' costume creator:
For my costume of Mary, I had a black skirt and white shirt already, so I bought a bowler hat, and a red bow tie along with a large umbrella. My boyfriend had all of what we needed for the chimney sweep laying around in his closet. I think all we had to buy were the suspenders! For the "coal" on his face we used some of my black eye shadow.
