1969 Hillary Rodham Costume

During this election season I have had many people tell me that I look like a young Hillary Clinton. For one costume party this year I decided to get political and because of the perfect timing I went for it. The costume was simple; printed high waisted pants, a white blouse and sandals - all things that I had in my closet. For hair I used a flat iron and pulled half of it back. Makeup was super simple, just some light brown eye shadow and mascara. Earlier that day I visited the local democratic office and found a cool button that says "Hillary for President" with Rosie the Riveter on it and I added a modern button so people would understand who I was. I rented a book on foreign policy, a staple for any political science major...and voila! I was Hillary Rodham for a night and talked about issues that were relevant in 1969 when Clinton was starting Yale! This costume was very cheap, very good for a last minute costume and very current!
