20/20 Costume

This project was the brainchild of 7 year old Trenton, who had the idea for these surreal beings. His mother, Amanda, went to work on this project with an assist from her mother, Cheryl, who happily agreed to complete the trio as the family transformed. A few balloons, plaster gauze, papier-mâché ingredients (mostly recycled newspapers), flour, water, acrylic paints and pipe cleaners brought the project in way under budget.

Halloween is a favorite time for the Levinson family and creative costuming has evolved into an annual multigenerational tradition. This year, the North Carolina outdoors proved to be the perfect setting for these new creatures to explore with their “20/20” vision.
