This homemade costume for families entered our 2016 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Carrie, the '3 Generations of Prince' costume creator:
The Peterson family is honoring the late Prince Rogers Nelson. Dad is dressed as Controversy, Baby Holden is Purple Rain and Mom is 3rd eye girl. Everything was purchased second hand and assembled by me(mom). I did sew the ruffles onto the Purple rain shirt. Second hand stores are where I find the best pieces I then assemble to create the winning costumes! We are from Minnnesota and were devastated to hear of Princes passing. Prince was actually on the list of baby names. Doing a Prince theme is our way of saying Thanks!
