Adoptable Cat and Kittens in a Box Costume

My name is Laura, otherwise know as the crazy cat lady. I have three awesome cats that I rescued from an animal shelter. Or did they rescue me? Regardless, we all love each other. I made this costume using a lightweight box, scrap material to look like a blanket at the top, stuffed animals, paper and stickers. I poked holes in the box at the top, and added pieces of sting, so that it can easily hang over my shoulders. The stuffed animals, and material were put on using a glue gun. I originally made the costume to wear during a 5k Halloween run. Yes,I actually did run while wearing this costume. Plus on the costume I have the website to the Humane Society, as I wanted to spread awareness about adopting animals. Adopt don't shop! I also covered the box in contact paper so that it would hold up in the rain. The total cost of the costume was under $10. I used scrap material for the blanket, scrapbooking stickers and paper. The "adopt me" sign was printed by me. The box is decorated on all four sides, including stuffed animals on the back. Meow! PS if you are not a cat person, just use dogs or stuffed animals of your choice instead.
