This homemade costume for families entered our 2022 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Mallory, the 'Airport Family' costume creator:
My son who is 6 wanted to be a pilot for Halloween.. It took my husband a few draft rounds but he created one! He first took apart the power wheels, added different side support frames with metal and then secured plastic sheet metal with rivets to hold everything in place. It is 8ft long, 5.5ft wide and my son drives it now like a pro! He is the captain and his younger brother is the co-pilot. My husband and I round out the costume as the grounds crew with our vests and wing light/wands! (I am not in the pictures as I had to take them!)
