Aliens Colonial Marine Costume

This is me in my tribute to the hard-fighting "Colonial Marines". They are the galactic grunts from the Aliens movie. This is my custom armor with many pieces made my me with a little help from others.

The armor parts are hard plastic formed into shape and painted with acrylics. Loads of details were added, including my pet "facehugger". I custom-made the plasma weapon, painted it and added flash lights up front - the spikes up top glow too!There is battle damage all over the armor because it shows some tough scrapes on foreign terrain.

The helmet is made from a hard plastic shell with EVA foam neck armor and boom microphone flap. I added a motorcycle foam set inside to wear it in comfort.
