Aloha! Costume

This is Gertie, she is a 4 year old, 5lb mixed breed. We love anything tropical, and this year she wanted to be a hula girl! Yes, she told me so! I made the grass skirt with green duct tape and ribbon, strung the lei from silk flowers, and attached the silk hibiscus flower to a barrette, which I then had to trim because it was too big for her head! I also made a coconut bra for her, but I had to use acorns instead because of her size! I also took her picture in front of my shower curtain for an added background!
