Flamingo Costume

My daughter is 5 Addison has autism and requested to be a flamingo. We simply cut a piece of pink felt. Into the shape of wings and sewed a pink feather boa around the edges. We then made the pink tutu and took a pink hat and sewed on black for the eyes just small stitches so we can remove and still use the hat and then glued the google eyes on. To make the beak we took a white sock and stuffed it with stuffing and took a piece of black felt And cut out the jagged nose. I sewed it to the sock and she is the cutest flamingo ever!!
