Apocalypse Survivor Costume

The pictures are of me in my post-apocalypse costume. It’s home made except for the mask and goggles. I just looked up the sewing pattern for a long sleeve shirt and pants and then once finished I artfully ripped it all over, added the scraps in places, mainly tied around the waste, sewed leather over both shoulders and tied leather around my waist and onto both wrists. I had the leather boots already and the goggles I got from Walmart for about 5$, the fabric is also from Walmart and it totaled around 25$ altogether but I have left overs. The mask was from amazon for about 10$. I then added blood onto any exposed skin and wrapped leather around my neck and fleece around my hands and then to finish it off I draped a two yard long piece of draping fabric over myself and tied it around the neck, it took a while to get the hood effect I wanted, you have to bunch together a lot of fabric in front. It would have been much more comfortable and needed less cutting If I had actually printed out a pattern and measured my size rather than just eyeballing everything so it ended up rather tight. The inspiration came from all the almost apocalypse shows I watch like supernatural, good omens, and the umbrella academy, as well as multiple zombie movies and shows.
