Apollo the WW Fighter Pilot Costume

My dog, Apollo, is wearing this costume. He is is World War fighter pilot with plane. I love history and love the planes with pinups painted on them. I took two pieces of foam board and cut the wings. I used the left over pieces to make the flaps and to separate the wings. I then sorapainted these grey, then used a silver acrylic paint to sponge over the grey. This gave it a worn look. Then I just painted the pinup and plane name. I used craft glue to piece everything together. I then cut two slits in to the bottom wind and just placed thru the top of the harness. This held everything in place. I ordered the aviator cap with goggles and his scarf to finish the look.
