Armored Batman Costume

This costume was inspired by Batman Arkham Asylum. I changed things up a little and made it my own. I made this costume for my son who was 8 years old at the time. I wanted it to have something special so I integrated the bat signal which illuminated from the gauntlets. I also made a batarang and gatland gun to go with the costume. Almost every piece of this costume was made by hand. I used a sewing machine and sewed a lot by hand. The materials that I used are as follows, Foam, foam latex, foam sheets, cardboard, spray glue, black material, and my own muscle suit design. My son did win 1st place at a costume contest held annually in my city. Which we were pretty happy about. Let me know what you think. Thanks for checking it out!
