Army Men Costume

This army costume is worn by my boyfriend, James, and myself. This is a homemade costume that took a lot of work to create but it was definitely worth it! We bought all the clothes and accessories at thrift and army navy stores. We cut out cardboard for the base but did not attach it to our shoes so that we could still walk. Then we spray painted everything the same color green. It took 8-10 cans of spray paint and about 4-5 cans of primer to get it the color we wanted. For the face we wore nylons that we also spray painted. It was a fun costume and very popular at the party!
