Auntie Florence and Auntie Ruby Costume

My daughter and my niece are wearing what we call the “Auntie Florence and Auntie Ruby” costume. My sister-in-law and I had girls 6 weeks apart from each other and from day one they were destined to be best friends! My great Aunts looked just like this and they were always accidentally wearing each other’s glasses, walking around complaining they can’t see a thing and drinking calamine lotion instead of peptobismal. Hahaha they were hilarious! So my sister-in-law and I thought it would be fun to recreate them and what better way than with toothless babies?! We grabbed some beanies and hot glued cotton balls for the hair, found some old glasses and made the best old lady outfits we could with what we had. And there you have it! Two “old babes” with limitless captions.
