Avatar Jake and Neytiri Costume

My boyfriend and I decided to be Avatar this year. We absolutely love the love story of Jake and Neytiri. The detail in their character is amazing and we tried to recreate it with our own special touch. Everything pictured was handmade. The makeup required a base blue paint with minor details using face paint. The body suit was spray painted to add detail. All of the beading and feathers were crafted to give a true sense of the jungle feel as depicted in the movie. We are so excited to enter into this contest and show off our creativity and love for Avatar.
