Avatar Costume

I loved putting this costume together. The only actual Avatar piece that I bought was the body suit, which I sewed to fit me perfectly. The rest of the accessories were hand-picked to compliment the costume. I braided my full head of hair (yes, it's black) and added beads and feathers. I used blue makeup and yellow colored contacts to complete the look. I have wanted to do this costume for years, but knew it was a BIG commitment. I finally did it and I was so happy with how it turned out and I received many, many compliments along with quite a few people asking to take a picture with me!
