This homemade costume for kids entered our 2016 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Colleen, the 'Baba and her Giant Perogy' costume creator:
My 3yr old daughter, Adelyn, insitisted for weeks that she wants to be a perogy for Halloween this year. A very unusual request but I embraced the idea (after asking time and time again, 'are you sure??') and tried looking for any ideas online. I had a vision and was left hanging after seeing nothing online.
After spending some time at the fabric store I put the idea to work. There was a lot of stitch ripping but the perogy costume came out perfect!
And I thought what goes better with a perogy costume... Her Bababushka!
My 8 month old, Lillian, accompanies her older sister as a baba.
