Baby Banana Split Costume

This is baby Hazel, a 16 week old preemie. She and our English Mastiff, Elvis, wore matching costumes. The idea came from my mind. I'm an art teacher and have been planning this since August. Her banana is sewed from fleece , including the cone hat. The hat has a bit of stuffing in it to make it stand. I made the ice cream from felt, sewing circles and tubes, gathering them, then hot gluing them together. The whip cream is spray foam. The sprinkles are pony beads and the syrup is glue and brown acrylic paint mixed together. Elvis's costume is the same, just the bananas are constructed from cardboard backing and covered in felt.
