Baby Chucky Costume

My son Liam is wearing the Chucky costume I made for him this year. The pocket got messed up in a time crunch but the rest came out ok. It’s hand painted and sewn. Very hard to find the exact shirt Chucky wore so I had to cut some colors out to make it look decent. The cuffs were done with stockings, the shirt is a onsie I found from an organic clothing site. The pictures are painted with scribbles paint. The knife is a disappearing knife. The gashes on his face were tattoo wounds and the hair color is Jerome Russell enemy orange. My grandmother and I were big Chucky fans so I did it for her. His twin brother Jase was supposed to be jigsaw but between the black in his hair and the face paint, it became a disaster. His costume is also hand sewn for the sake of originality. I thought you could buy these costumes fairly easy but when I tried a couple weeks before Halloween, I quickly realized I would be making them myself. The ones you can buy look generic and completely wrong so I just began ordering everything as fast as I could. When I had everything I needed, I had less then a week to finish both. Can’t wait for next year with no surprises!
