I found a hoodie and cut out brown strips of felt. I covered the front with the strips, let it dry then did the back. I made the branch pieces out of a little bit of wire with felt glued around it. Then I took some different shades of paint and went over the whole thing to give the bark some depth.

I'm trying to do something similar for a 18m old. Did you continue design on pants? Did you just continue to layer different shapes of felt to create branches?

What did u glue it with? Jus glue stick? And how did you get the felt of leaves to stick up like that on the hoodie? It looks amazing by the way

Thanks! I used fabric glue and the little branches are bent wire wrapped in felt and hot glued.
