This homemade costume for babies entered our 2018 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Maggie, the 'Baby Phanatic' costume creator:
Declan Thomas, dressed as the Philadelphia Philly Phanatic from the Galapagos Islands! Just 9 months old, Declan is a huge sports fan and especially loves the Phillies. The costume was hand made by favorite Auntie. She hand dyed faux fur to perfectly match the Phanatics color then cut and sewed the fur to have a custom fit body piece. She used craft supplies to replicate the Phanatics face on the hood. Declan had the chance to meet the real Phanatic at our local fire prevention night, and needless to say, it was love at first sight!
