Baby Porcupine Costume

My son Blake (1 years old) wearing Porcupine costume, the idea was inspired from from Pinterest. I Purchased the Brown snowsuit from Amazon ($18), Extra brown material to match from thrift shop ($3) X2 fake decor stem leaves from hobby lobby (40% off $10 for both) X2 cans white spray paint ($5), X1 brown spray paint ($6), velcro strips ($3.50 Walmart), and mittens ($1 tree).
I started by cutting the fabric to fit the back of the snowsuit and attached velcro for easy on/off. Then spray painted all the stems individually brown and cut in half and some into thirds for the headpiece you needed shorter stems. came back in with white to give the true Porcupine look & hot glued each piece on. Finally spray painted the mittens to match & added some black nose paint to finish off the look.
