Baby Ruth Costume

When RBG passed away this year I knew almost immediately that I wanted to honor her with Leah’s Halloween costume! I took to the internet to find a wig and collar but a baby robe was much harder to come by. One night I remembered this old shirt of my grandmothers that I had hung on to for years, I pinned up the sleeves and it turned into a perfect judges robe. The earrings are also from my grandmothers old collection of costume jewelry. The glasses were sunglasses from the dollar general that I popped the lenses out of. The final pieces were the flag, book and “I dissent” sign!
