This homemade costume for babies entered our 2014 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Carol, the 'Baby Wally the Red Sox Mascot' costume creator:
My son and his wife are huge Red Sox fans, so when they asked me to make my 4-1/2 month old Grandson Wally costume, I was thrilled to do it. I bought green fleece and sewed a basic sleeper. I looked online for a good picture of Wally and then I made a Wally headpiece with the same green fleece as the sleeper. I added facial features with felt, crocheted some red "Converse" sneakers, and bought a used baseball shirt at the thrift shop, added a diaper and a hat, and we had a great baby Wally outfit!
