Baby Chewbacca Costume

For my 4 month old son's first Halloween, we wanted to do something cute, unique, funny and warm. My Star Wars loving husband came up with Chewbacca. I used a long sleeve footed onesie as a template and created a two piece costume -body and hat/beard- using Mongolian faux fur painted with watered down non-toxic dark brown paint. I used a dark brown micro-fiber (from an old pillow) for the satchel and silver lamé for the cartridges on the strap.
