Back to the Future 2 Costume

This is my son and I with my homemade Delorean time machine from Back to the Future 2. The delorean frame is made out of spare plywood that I attached with screws. The body was cut out of cardboard and super clued to the wood pieces. The details are all household items added for effect. Light panelling on the sides are screen door strips layed over LED rope lighting. The license plate is thin plastic attached to the car with magnet.

My sons air mags were pieced together with sheet foam, hit glued to a generic canvas high top shoe. The rest of our outfits are clothing items that I found at Good will or other retailers.
