This homemade costume for girls entered our 2017 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Jessica, the 'Ballerina in a Jewelry Box' costume creator:
My daughter is 8 years old. This year she asked to be a ballerina in a jewelry box. I checked online for some ideas and got to work. We cut the bottom out of a tote, used spray paint , hot glue and some dollar store jewelry. We gave her a wind up key for the back. She won most original costume at our local costume contest.
