Balloon Mario & Luigi Costume

My wife, Becca, and I are wearing hand crafted Mario and Luigi costumes made entirely of entertainer balloons. I manage a balloon twisting company in Atlanta and thought that this year I would try my hand at balloon costumes for us. I decided on Mario and Luigi because they are easily recognizable, we both loved the old school Mario games, and because Luigi is a little taller than Mario (and I am a little taller than Becca). Both costumes are hundreds of balloons and took over 18 total hours to complete. As far as "how-to" instructions, I would recommend hiring a balloon artist to make one for you as opposed to doing it yourself. The costumes are certainly fun and entertaining, but very frustrating with frequent repairs to popping balloons, difficult to use the bathroom, hot, squeaky, constricting, and difficult to move in tight spaces like a car, a party, etc. This is pretty much a costume for pictures, not one to be wearing all night. We got the pictures and hope you all enjoy them!
