Basketball Belly Costume

So in these pictures I was almost 38 weeks pregnant. I wanted to do something away from the norm for pregnant Halloween costumes. Everyone kept telling me all I had was a basketball belly so Viola! the idea came very easy. I raided a few thrift stores - these items are very easy to find, cheated with the headband and wristbands and bought them at a sports store, but even the shoes were from Goodwill - wrestling shoes... the only ones... and they were MY SIZE! Like it was meant to be. Anyway, my husband helped to measure and cut a hole in the jersey, then he painted my belly. I never thought it would come out so life-like as it did. One lady was kidding and went to rub my belly and jumped back because she realized it was my real belly! Funny stuff!
