A word from Joseph, the 'Beaker' costume creator:
Beaker my fav charector from the muppets.
His head was a roll of poster board spayed with adhesive and covered in light beige felt material. I cut a tunnel shape for the mouth and glued black netting inside. The toungue was red felt sprayed on with adhesive spray. The eyes were foam sphere shaps painted white with black pupil. I put small wooden sticks into the eyes and through the poster and material to hold the eyes in place along with some glue. The nose was a egg shaped foam shape covered in orange felt. To do the top of his head I used a round cake board covered with orange felt with spray adhesive. I glued pieces of orange feather boas for the hair about 15-20 each one twined in pipe cleaner. Each piece of hair was stapled into the top. Once the face and hair is done I used velcro to hold it all together including the sides of the cake board to fasten it together. I wore black dress pants and a oversized grey dress shirt i found at a thrift store. A regular white dress shirt under that and a black tie. Also a single black pen in the pocket.
