Beatles Themed Family Costume

Our 7 year old came up with the idea of our family being the Beatles but we have 5 people in our family. Together we chose sun for our 2 year old because the Beatles have several Sun themed songs “Here comes the sun” “Good day Sunshine” “I’ll follow the sun” and “sun king”. We also turned our wagon into the yellow submarine using poster board and paint (hand drawn from photo). The Sun costume was made out of an oversized sweatshirt with the sleeves cut off and various types of felt cut and glued on to make the sun. I also made Ringo’s drum out of a store bought black candy bucket with handle removed. I hot glued silver ribbon to make it look like a drum and printed a Beatles logo sticker. Rope was used to create the neck strap. I also made George’s guitar out of poster board, markers and ribbon for the strap.
