This homemade costume for families entered our 2018 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Bridget, the 'Bee Keeper and his Bees' costume creator:
My son is a bee keeper. And myself ( his mom) the dog( Zoe), and the guinea pig( Squeakers) are all bees. For his costume I started with a real bee keeper jacket and added some hand made Pom Pom bees to it, a pair of disposable painters paints, yellow gloves from the dollar store, some cheap rain boots, and a pail that I bought on clearance for $3 that I painted "Honey" on and also glued more Pom Pom bees to. The pail is where the guinea pig stayed during trick or treating. ( yes she went with us) Lol. I came up with the idea after I was cleaning out my closet and found mine and my doggies old bee costumes. Then I came across a bee costume for the piggie and I couldn't resist ;-))
