Beetlejuice and Lydia Deetz Wedding Costume

My husband and I are wearing the costumes. I have wanted to do this costume for years, but haven't been ambitious enough until this year. I made both costumes from scratch using a tuxedo pattern for Beetlejuice and various patterns Frankensteined together for Lydia. I had no pattern for the ruffles on the skirt so that was all trial and error. Lydia's hair is my natural hair teased in a ponytail and pomade in my bangs. I wasn't impressed with the store bought Beetlejuice wigs so we followed what vi niell did in the movie and used a bald Cap and lace front wig. I am so dang proud of this costume!
