Beetlejuice Sandworm Costume

Here is my very own creation of the sandworm from the 1988 movie, Beetlejuice! I've loved this movie my entire life & wanted to recreate one of my own personal favorite characters from the movie...the sandworm, with my own personal spin! I always thought he was so absolutely fantastic & deserved more acknowledgment and appreciation. I wanted him to be the spotlight of the costume, and have my fiancé & best friend go as Barbara & Adam. We all agreed that being Beetlejuice & Lydia is a bit overdone, so we wanted to take a different path.
I had no how-to instructions, and for most of the costume, just winged it. I used a combination of paper clay, fabric, (lots of) glue, foam, acrylic paint, wire & love!
