Bender from Futurama Costume

I'm wearing it. idea is from the cartoon futurama! started with a tube made of artist matboard stapled together. paper mache dome is made with a ballon inflated in the end of the tube. antenea is a cut funnel. ping pong ball tops the antenea. eyes are styro balls painted. eye mask is foam sheet cut and glued together. the whole top is bondo and sanded till smooth. mouth is window screen painted with spray paint and sharpe marker. the head strap for depth is just more artist matt strips glued to the interior. dense foam for head band and chin stop in the interior. fiber glass resin on the interior to strengthen and stiffen the whole thing.The body is an upside down trash can cut out to fit. 2 inch foam for the collar. pipe insulation for the arm holes. door is left over garbage can cuttings riveted on with cheap hinges. super magnets to keep it closed. then spray painted.
