This homemade costume for girls entered our 2017 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Cortney, the 'Birthday Barbie Besties' costume creator:
My daughter Paige and her best friend Kayla wanted to be Barbies in a box. So we came up with Birthday Barbie Besties. We used two golf boxes, tape, box cutters, acrylic paint, spray paint, glitter, glue gun and some items we had at home. I hand painted the balloons and cake on the boxes. I also added handles so they can carry it, a light on the ceiling so they could be seen at night and a candy bag.
