This homemade costume for men entered our 2018 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Joe, the 'Blue Crow Samurai' costume creator:
I’m wearing the costume. I have always wanted samurai armor but couldn’t afford to buy it so I decided to make my own. It’s made up of Eva foam I purchased at Home Depot. The banner is made of felt and bamboo. It’s my first build so not perfect but I’m happy with the results. I purchased the mask and helmet and made alterations but the rest of the suit I fabricated on my own. Through trial and error I learned how to make less mistakes and am excited for my next build.Hope you enjoy.
