Bobynx Costume

I am wearing this costume. It is my Bobynx a bobcat lynx hybrid cat that I came up with. I was inspired by furies to make this costume. I drew up a few sketches of this before even trying to make it. This costume roughly cost between $500 - $1000. The head itself is a special order, it's a resin blank. It comes blank and you make it into what you want it to be. The eyes are hand painted. Both ears have squeaker's in them that are from dog toy's so when you squeeze them they squeak. Both cheeks have lights in them that if you squeeze them they light up. The jaw is hinged so when you talk it opens and closes. The whiskers are made with fishing line. The designs on the costume were all carefully draw up on paper then, traced on the fur, then cut out of the fake faux fur, then had stitched onto the suit. The fur came from pillows blankets and the fabric store. It is a full body suit. Their is a light airbrushing on the suit as well as fabric marker on the face. I used apoxy around the mouth and eyes. The suit took me a full year to complete this is only the second costume I have ever made. This costume is great fun to scare coworkers in if you work at an animal clinic.
